Campus Construction
(Summer of 2008)

As Georgetown College continues to grow and expand - there is an ongoing need for new facilities and buildings. As such, we have experienced several major construction projects over the past few years including the Anne Wright Wilson Fine Arts Building, the East Campus Complex including the Athletic Facilities and Conference Center, the Anna Ashcraft Ensor Learning Resource Center and the Student Recreation Center.

Recently completed construction projects include; the addition and enlargement of the Campus Bookstore, the renovation of the John L. Hill Chapel and the complete refurbishing of the Grille and C Store.

For the summer of 2008 no major construction or renovation projects are scheduled.

If construction or renovation projects were to occur - please heed the following ...

Construction Area Guidelines
01. all construction areas will be well-marked and well-lit
02. all campers are required to stay away from these marked construction areas
03. campers are advised to be careful and cautious as large, industrial equipment is being moved on or off campus - and must stay away from this machinery
04. camp coordinators and directors will be informed prior to their respective sessions of construction which might impact their camp offering
05. campers not following these suggested guidelines will be sent - immediately home
